The Makrothen RTTY Contest 2024
The contest takes place on the second full weekend of October each year. The next contest dates are Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th October 2024, with three separate periods: Saturday 00:00-08:00 UTC and 16:00-24:00 UTC and Sunday 08:00-16:00 UTC. A station may participate in all three periods and should submit one combined log for all periods. For amateurs around the world to contact as many other amateurs as possible during the three periods of operation using RTTY.

Contest will take place annually on the first Friday of October. The contest runs from 00:00:01 UTC to 23:59:59 UTC on the 04th of October 2024. The Unicom Radio Club invites amateur radio operators worldwide to participate in the URC DX RTTY Contest. "May 18th, 2024 marks the first anniversary of the death of Ben, DL6RAI. This is an opportunity for the Bavarian Contest Club to remember Ben in a small memorial contest on this day. Ben was very open to new things, this contest will also be held in FT4/FT8 in addition to the four common operating modes CW, SSB and RTTY. Ben was QRV continuously from 1980 to 2023 and has over 254,000 QSOs in the log under DL6RAI alone."

Amateurs worldwide contact and exchange QSO information with other amateurs using only the Radioteletype (RTTY) mode on the 80, 40, 20, 15, and 10 meter bands. Any station may work any other station. Stations may be worked once per band, regardless of mode. Automated operation is not permitted, each claimed contact must include contemporaneous direct initiation by the operator on both sides of the contact.
Dates: First full weekend of January, but never on January 1. (January 6-7, 2024).

SINGLE-OP LOW, max. output 100 watts - all bands. Only one signal permitted at any time.

MULTI-OP, band changes are allowed every 10 minutes; this includes all activities of a main station, including QSO & QTC traffic and CQing.

OV9R - A new IG-RY call is "born"
We would like to announce glady that we owning a new callsign for Denmark.
The first activation will be approximately from the 16. of September till to the 30. September 2023. The location will be on Fanö Island (EU-125 and OZFF-004) at the danish west coast. A participation in the CQ WW RTTY Contest is also planed.

This contest having a " Special QSY Rule": If any station solicits a call (e.g., by sending “CQ,”
“QRZ?” “going up 5 kHz” or any other means of soliciting a response, including completion of a contact where the frequency was inherited), that station is permitted to work only one station in response to that solicitation. The station must thereafter move at least 1 kHz before calling another station, or at least
5 kHz before soliciting other calls. Once a station is required to QSY, that station is not allowed to make another contact on the vacated frequency until or unless at least one subsequent contact is made on a new frequency.

Mission: To encourage newly-licensed operators (“Rookies”) in North America (including territories and possessions) to operate on the HF bands and experience competitive Amateur Radio operating. For the year 2023, the annual winner will be calculated after the two competitions in July and October 2023.

The SSB and RTTY Club of COMO and the A.R.I. (Associazione Radioamatori Italiani) are pleased to announce the details of the 57th "Alessandro VOLTA RTTY DX CONTEST". This contest is organized to increase interest in RTTY mode as used by radio amateurs and to honor the Italian discoverer of electricity, ALESSANDRO VOLTA.
TEST PERIOD: from 12:00 GMT Saturday May 13th, 2023 until 12:00 GMT Sunday May 14th, 2023. In the future this event will take place on the second full week-end in May.

A.R.I. International DX Contest 2023

TRC DIGI CONTEST 2021 - RTTY
Date and period: The second full weekend of December 11/12, 2021 from 06:00 UTC on Saturday till 18:00 UTC on Sunday.
Period of operation: 36 hours. Single Operator stations may operate for only 24 of these 36 hours –
off times must be a minimum of 60 minutes during which no QSO can be logged. Multi operator stations may operate for the full 36 hours.

North American QSO Party 2021 -RTTY
The North American QSO Parties are favorites of beginners and seasoned operators alike. The NAQPs are low-power only (no amplifiers allowed) which makes for a lot more breathing room on the bands. Small stations can generate very effective “runs” in the NAQP contests. RTTY part: 1800 UTC July 17 to 0600 UTC July 18, 2021 (third full weekend in July).

The SSB and RTTY Club of COMO and the A.R.I. (Associazione Radioamatori Italiani) are pleased to announce the details of the 55th "Alessandro VOLTA RTTY DX CONTEST". This contest is organized to increase interest in RTTY mode as used by radio amateurs
and to honor the Italian discoverer of electricity, ALESSANDRO VOLTA.

A.R.I. International DX Contest 2021
The Associazione Radioamatori Italiani (A.R.I.) has the honour of inviting radio
amateurs from all over the world to participate in the ARI International DX Contest. It is a world-wide competition, everybody can work everybody. The contest will be held on each first full week-end of May starting at 1200Z Saturday
and ending at 1159Z Sunday. In year 2021 the dates will be May 1-2.
